AMAG produces primary aluminium in Canada, cast and rolled products in Austria as well as ready-to-install machined components and assemblies for the aircraft, space and defence industry in Germany. AMAG has three divisions: Metal, Casting and Rolling, with Rolling being the biggest one in terms of employees and revenue.
AMAG casting offers all standard cast alloys as well as customised special products in the form of liquid aluminium, ingots, and sows. AMAG manufactures rolled aluminium products in the form of sheets, coils, plates, slit coils, clad material, and strips. AMAG Austria Metall AG holds an investment in the joint venture aluminium electrolysis Aluminerie Alouette Inc., the Alouette smelter produces primary aluminium and is one of the low carbon primary suppliers for the Ranshofen site. AMAG components can look back on more than 60 years of experience in the production of aluminium and titanium components and ready-to-install parts for the aerospace industry worldwide.
